Annamalai (Anamalai or Anamalah) Mountains are a mountain range and wildlife sanctuary in the Western Ghats range of southern India, straddling the border between Kerala and Tamil Nadu states. The park is part of the South Western Ghats montane rain forests ecoregion, and preserves montane rain forest, montane grassland, and stunted Shola forests. It is home to a number of endangered species, including the Asian Elephant, Tiger, and Nilgiri Tahr.
